Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is GGFX Engineering (“GGFX”, “we”). For anything related to privacy, write to hello@ggfx.dev.
What we collect and why
- When you write to us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you put in the message. We use it to reply and to discuss a possible project with you.
- Call bookings
- When you book a call through Calendly, we receive your name, email address, the time you picked and any answers you add to the booking form. We use it to hold the call and prepare for it.
- Hosting logs
- Like any website, ours is delivered by servers that record technical data about each request: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested and the time. Cloudflare processes this data to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We do not use it to identify you.
Sharing data with us is voluntary. Without an email address we can’t reply to you or confirm a call.
No cookies, no analytics
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are hosted on our own domain, so loading a page doesn’t send your data to font providers. The intro animation on the home page stores one flag in your browser’s session storage so it doesn’t replay on every visit; it never leaves your device and is cleared when you close the tab.
Legal basis
- Replying to your inquiry and holding a call you booked: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Hosting logs: our legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- If we start working together, records we must keep by law, such as invoices: our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Who processes your data
We don’t sell your data or share it for marketing. We use these service providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare, Inc.
- Hosts this website and routes email sent to our domain (privacy policy).
- Calendly LLC
- Runs our call booking (privacy policy).
- Email provider
- Stores the mailbox where your messages arrive.
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Emails and booking details: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless we start working together.
- If we work together: for the duration of the project and afterwards for as long as the law requires us to keep business and tax records.
- Hosting logs: for the short period set by Cloudflare’s own retention policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and object to processing based on our legitimate interests. To use any of these rights, email hello@ggfx.dev; we reply within one month.
You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. In Poland that is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, UODO), uodo.gov.pl.
We don’t use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and the effective date above. This version is effective as of October 30, 2026.
